WELCOME TO URBAN ABSTRACT
Hi. My name is Brenda and I like to explore the world with my camera. The graphic nature of the textures, patterns and colors found in urban settings is what inspires my work – nothing more and nothing less. As a former urban explorer, I also enjoy taking photos of abandoned and disused buildings. Anything industrial or in a state of decay fits the bill. I am an explorer at heart. Getting lost in the details is my favorite activity.
SAINT PAUL ART CRAWL
See me at the Saint Paul Art Crawl, April 25, 26 and 27! I'll be in the 4th floor hallway of the Rossmor Building (near unit 412) and will be showing all new work – even some from Chernobyl. Hope to see you there!
Abandoned places have fascinated me for as long
as I can remember. So, I've added an Abandoned section! Currently, you'll find photos from my Chernobyl and Salton Sea trips. More will be added as I visit more abandoned places.
Very soon, I'll be in southern New Mexico, exploring some of the best science-y places in the country. Look for these photos sometime in late spring!
